This hands-on class serves as a foundation by covering the basics of Autodesk Inventor. The primary objective is to introduce students to Autodesk Inventor by teaching them the skills necessary to build parts of moderate complexity, assemble parts in an assembly model, and document the models with 2D drawing views.
Not every command or option is included in this course, since the intent is to present the most essential tools and concepts.
Prerequisites
People enrolling for this course should have a good working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Windows. Students should be comfortable using a mouse and keyboard as well as have the ability to use Windows Explorer to create and access folders.
An understanding of basic drafting skills and blueprint reading is necessary. Working knowledge of parametric solid modeling concepts is desirable.
